Year 1 and 2 enjoyed a bonfire party on Wednesday afternoon. Over the past half term the children have been busy learning new skills such as cutting food with a knife and learning about the artist Andy Goldsworthy. The children then made 2 different snacks for the party and sparklers. They have also been learning 2 different firework songs in their French lessons. A great afternoon was had by all and the snacks were delicious.
This half term in maths we will be focusing on Number and Place Value.
We have been using lots of different resources to help us with our work
In English we have been looking at the story Wild by Emily Hughes.
We started off by using adjectives to described the different characters in the story.
We are now moving on to writing our own questions about the book and beginning to answer them.
