2E are having a great week!
So far this week we have planned and made sandwiches. The children have been learning to use imperative verbs, time connectives and noun phrases. Today they applied these skills into their writing. The children have written 'what you will need' to make a sandwiches. Then they used their new skills to write a clear set of instructions.
I hope they have gone home to tell you all about it!
In Maths we have been learning about equal groups and sharing. The children have also enjoyed the challenge of showing us how many ways they can make and show a number. We have seen the children use the bar model, number lines, counters, dienes and the part-whole model.
