Hello! My name is Miss La Veys.

I am a Year 4 teacher here at Silver End Academy! 

A little about me—I have a passion for art and cooking, and I love finding creative ways to bring these interests into the classroom. I am also proud to be the Art Lead for our school, where I help inspire creativity and a love for artistic expression across all year groups. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, making memories, and enjoying new experiences.

Another subject I absolutely love to teach is Maths! It was always my favourite subject when I was younger, and I enjoy making it fun, engaging, and accessible for all students. Year 4 has a massive focus on times tables, so I make sure to find engaging ways to improve children's multiplication and division skills.

In my class, I believe in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels valued and encouraged to grow. We will work together, challenge ourselves, and most importantly, have fun while learning!
