Assessing writing is a continuous process as feedback is given to children during lessons, which is intended to address misconceptions and move their learning forward. This feedback will focus on grammar, spelling and punctuation, alongside our handwriting and presentation expectations.

At the end of each term, children's writing will be assessed against objectives from the National Curriculum.
